Assurance Assignments


As well as performing statutory audits we also fulfill other Assurance assignments such as reporting to regulators including The Financial Services Authority, banks, european bodies and many others. We also fulfill verification work on grant claims or provide reports to third parties where an Assurance is required by that third party on financial information.Pen and paper

There are a number of other bodies that require audits such as charities, pension schemes and solicitors or other bodies where the work is performed under different legislation to the Companies Act. In the News

Budget 2012

The Chancellor has confirmed that this year's Budget statement will be made on Wednesday 21 March.

VAT Online Filing

This becomes compulsory from 1 April 2012 and payment of VAT must be made by electronic means. Cheques will no longer be accepted.

Compulsory Pensions

In 2012 automatic enrolment into a pension scheme is due to come into force. On average, it will cost small businesses an extra £2,550 per year.

Deadline Diary

The next important diary date is 28 February when a 5% surcharge becomes payable on any tax still not paid for the 2010-11 tax year. Make sure your 2010-11 liability is settled in full by this date. Do get in touch if you need any help.
