Martin Dunne - Partner
Having qualified with a medium-sized firm in the 1990s, Martin moved to a "Big Four" firm of advisers where he spent four and a half years looking after both inward investment companies and successful entrepreneurial ventures. His experience included corporate finance transactions such as due diligence, litigation support, financial assistance and stock exchange transactions.
Martin then joined Sayers Butterworth and currently advises a wide variety of clients in the SME market, maintaining a mix of international businesses and fast-growing entrepreneurial companies.
Martin's particular areas of expertise include the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS and Seed EIS), Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) share options and Research & Development tax relief. He also advises clients on the sale of businesses, including negotiating deals with potential buyers and advice on how to maximise value. Martin has an enviable reputation for practical and commercial advice which helps clients as they grow their business, providing solutions and opinions rather than the usual "Here are your options, you choose" approach.
